Full-stack builder.
Backend at heart.
I'm Parkson Tano Daniel—a full-stack developer for web and mobile, a computer science teacher, and an endlessly curious learner.
I enjoy the whole product journey. Backend engineering is my favorite part: making the systems beneath an experience reliable, understandable, and useful.

I like making complicated things make sense.
That thread runs through everything I do: designing a payment workflow, building a mobile screen, explaining an algorithm to a student, or working through a dataset.
Based in Douala, Cameroon, I lead engineering at QuickerPay. My work spans Python backends, web applications, customer and agent mobile apps, databases, cloud infrastructure, and the CI/CD workflows that get changes into production.
My foundations span over 10 years with Python and JavaScript, 10 years with Django, and over 12 years with HTML and CSS. Python, Django, FastAPI, React, Next.js, React Native, PostgreSQL, and AWS are all part of that story. Backend systems are the work I naturally gravitate toward.
I studied computer science with a minor in mathematics at ENS Maroua. Advanced data structures and algorithms, complexity analysis, mathematical analysis, and algebra inform how I solve problems. Teaching taught me to break things down, listen carefully, and make space for questions. Those lessons travel with me into every engineering team and every product.
This site is my growing autobiography: what I've built, what I'm learning, and the ideas I want to share.

Make room for the “why?”
From programming fundamentals to databases and digital literacy, I connect classroom ideas with the systems we use every day. Understanding is an unlock worth celebrating.
I also spoke at PyCon Cameroon 2026 about modernizing Django with ASGI, Channels, and WebSockets.
